How does it work?
Just like any Fun Run, a Colour Explosion School Fun Run works by setting up a number of stations around your track. As the participants make their way through your obstacles and around the course, they are covered with water and vibrant Holi Colour Powder.

Ordering Materials – What do I need?
A Colour Explosion Fun Run can be a simple or elaborate as you would like. But, there are few things (like Colour Powder!) that you can’t go without!
Colour Powder
You want to make sure there is enough colour powder to fill the air! We recommend purchasing 100g of our Genuine Holi Colour Powder for each participant. You can purchase in bulk boxes, paper bags, 500g BPA Free bottles or 350g squirt bottles – whatever will be most convenient for your Colour Blasters!

FAQ: How much colour powder should I order?
We recommend purchasing 100g of Colour Powder per particpant! Simply multiply 100g x the number of participants to give the exact amount you should order!
eg. 100g x 350 students = 3.5 kgs of Genuine Holi Colour Powder

UV400 Sunglasses
Not only are our bright, colourful UV400 Sunglasses great for protecting eyes from the sun – they make great protection from Colour Powder landing in your eyes! Although the colour powder is completely safe for skin and eyes, the extra protection is a requirement for many schools!
Water Blasters
Maximise the colour of our Holi Colour Powder by drenching your participants with water too! A water-blaster or hose can be a great way to add an additional element of fun to your Colour Explosion Fun Run! Plus, damp clothes and skin makes our Holi Colour Powder extra vibrant!

Ready to Race! Set up your course.
The big day has arrived! Setting up your course is the biggest task on the day, and it will definitely help to be prepared.
Blaster stations
Depending on the size of your track, it’s best to have four Colour Blaster stations, and two Water Blaster stations. These should be spaced evenly apart, to make sure every participant gets coated in vibrant colour!
Set up your Colour Blaster stations with a table and plenty of colour powder. Your water stations should have large buckets to refill your water blasters.
Colour Blaster stations need to be set up around your track.
Obstacles
If you’d like to add something extra to your Colour Explosion Fun Run, you could set up some additional obstacles for your runners! Things like tyres, hanging foam noodles or a Slip-N-Slide are all easy and affordable obstacles to take your event to the next level.
