Do It For Dolly Day is a day dedicated to bringing the community together, spreading kindness and uniting in helping break the silence around bullying.
Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.
However, this important work cannot be achieved without the generous support of individuals and communities across Australia. Choosing to fundraise for Dolly’s Dream helps others from experiencing the devastating effects of bullying. Now, you can join the movement too.
Do It For Dolly Day is a day local communities across Australia come together to remember Dolly, a young girl who tragically took her own life after an extended period of bullying and cyber bullying.
Dolly’s story shook the nation and prompted her family to take a stand against bullying. This Do It For Dolly Day, let’s help Dolly’s own dream of a kinder and safer world for Australia’s kids and communities a reality.
Go Blue To End Bullying! This May, go blue by wearing your favourite blue shirt, glittery hat, or socks to show your support this Do It For Dolly Day. In wearing blue on Do It For Dolly Day, we can remind ourselves and other’s to be kind, and say no to bullying!
