Students across Australia have stepped up and chosen to Do It For Dolly! Donning blue in memory of Dolly Everett, students are spreading colour and kindness to fundraise for Dolly’s Dream: an organisation committed to changing the culture of bullying through education and direct support to young people and families.
“We are so thankful to everyone who fundraises for Dolly’s Dream,” says Sally Sweeney from Dolly’s Dream.
“Your support means that we can get our anti-bullying message into more schools, as well as… our Dolly’s Dream Support Line which offers free counselling support, and online safety workshops for students, parents and teachers.”

Huge Donation with Colour Explosion Fundraiser
Through Australian Fundraising, over 25 schools and groups have participated in the Dolly’s Dream Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun since 2021, raising an awesome $149,856!
“We are just so amazed by the generosity of schools and groups to help make Dolly’s own dream a reality,” praises Sally. “It just shows that every donation makes a difference – big or small!”
Sally is absolutely right – our highest fundraised average per student comes from 15 amazing families at Springsure Family Daycare, who averaged a huge $108 per family for Dolly’s Dream! Their small group of 15 families contributed a heartfelt $1,620 to Dolly’s Dream, and had a brilliant time celebrating with their own Colour Explosion!
In Victoria, students at Somers Primary School also offered a generous donation to Dolly’s Dream, raising an average of $86.30 per student for their Dolly’s Dream Colour Explosion School Run 4 Fun! Way to go!
