As World Food Day 2025 approaches on 16 October, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible difference our school communities have made, and to dream bigger for what’s next.
Through Australian Fundraising’s Care For A Cause initiative, every student, family, and school that’s chosen to support OzHarvest has helped fight hunger and food waste in Australia. And this year, we are thrilled to announce that we’re just a whisker away from an incredible milestone of 99,836 meals delivered to people in need. That’s nearly 100,000 meals saved, shared, and served, thanks to you!
OzHarvest continues to lead the way in rescuing surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, turning it into nutritious meals for vulnerable Australians. Each Monty the Monstar Fun Run or Glowtastic Disco Party can help OzHarvest keep their yellow vans on the road – collecting food, feeding families, and brightening lives across the country.
