Monty the Monstar Fun Run is a fully supported, flexible school fundraising event designed to maximise participation and profits.

Your next fundraising event can be done exactly how you like it! Monty the Monstar’s events are completely customisable. You’ve got your choice of activity, your choice of cause, and your choice of prizes. 

When it comes to the event itself, you can choose between four different options for your Fun Run: 

• Standard Monty’s Fun Run, Monty’s Colour Fun Run (add a pop of environmentally friendly colour powder), 
• Monty’s Slime Fun Run (add some gooey slime!),  
• Monty’s Colour and Slime Fun Run – or a combination of both!

In all of these events, kids have the choice of making their way around the course in any way they like, whether that’s running, walking, or even dancing. They can choose to use a little or a lot of the colour powder and slime – or none at all! You can set your own goals, get the level of support that works best for you, and start fundraising through easy-to-use digital tools. 

You’ve even got a choice in how you reward kids for their fundraising efforts. Submit your online booking enquiry without worrying about getting locked down into a specific date or time or event size: our booking requests are completely flexible.

Once you’ve decided on your event type, you can lock in the goal amount you’re hoping to raise as a school. Teachers and parents can ask students what their own individual goals are around fundraising, whether it’s asking for a certain number of sponsorships, or helping them work out how many small donations will help them hit a larger goal.

3. Students fundraise online through secure donation pages

Students can ask for donations to the event via their own secure donation pages, created for them by Australian Fundraising. They can watch their fundraising total grow online, helping raise excitement when they get closer to their goal!

Set up your music, prepare the colour powder or slime, and get your accessories on: you’ll be supplied with a pair of Monty’s sunglasses for every student, or alternatively, headbands or coloured shirts. 

To make the day special before the fun run officially starts, the highest fundraiser will be awarded a golden cape that they can wear while they make their way around the course.
