Deep Fried CinnaChoc Cookie Delights

The cookie dough in these bites remains slightly gooey and never fully sets – and that’s exactly why we can’t get enough of them!
Ingredients:
- 250g Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough – Cinnamon Donut
- 250g Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough – Caramel White Choc
- 3 cups Rice Bran Oil (for frying)
- 1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Coffee Powder
- 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Large Egg
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
- 1 packet Chocolate Melts (for drizzling)
Directions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- Scoop small portions of each cookie dough flavour and combine them to form small balls, approximately 25mm wide. Arrange on a baking sheet and freeze until firm – about 1 hour.
- Heat the Oil:
- In a large pot over medium heat, heat 3 cups of rice bran oil until it reaches 180°F.
- Make the Batter:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, coffee, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add milk and the egg, mixing until the batter is smooth.
- Coat and Fry:
- Once the oil is hot, work in batches. Using a skewer, dip each chilled dough ball into the batter, ensuring a full coating. Let the excess batter drip off before carefully sliding the dough ball into the oil with a fork. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
- Finish and Serve:
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring to a smooth consistency. Drizzle over the warm dough bites and serve immediately.
