The Results
Due to COVID regulations, Bacchus Marsh Primary School were unable to conduct a Fun Run Fundraiser since 2019. To add to this, the Fundraising Coordinator had a full time job (like
many do) so it was important the hours spent organising were kept to a minimum.
“We worked with Australian Fundraising to enable an online option for the fundraising. The platform was easy to use for everyone involved, and the automated prizes not only motivated the students, but meant less paperwork and hassle as an organiser,” said Belinda.
“The kids loved the powder and slime together, and the obstacle course with hay bales was a winner. Being able to raise the money online made it much easier, and we’re delighted we raised an extra $15,673 over previous years. The platform was easy to use, students had a ball, parents were happy, and choosing the automated prize option meant less work for us. We look forward to working with them on our next Colour Splatacular.”
