You and your children will want to get a pooch just to bake these cheese flavoured Doggie Biscuit Dough Treats. Sampled and overwhelming approved by a “focus” group of doggies including Kailua the leader of the pack, Billy G’s family puppy! Dog Treat for occassional feeding only or as a reward.

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

THAW OUT THE TUB AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR APPROX. 1-2 HOURS TO MAKE THE DOGGIE DOUGH SOFT FOR EASE OF SCOOPING OUT OF THE TUB. USE THE SHORTBREAD BAKING INSTRUCTIONS SHOWN ON THE SIDE OF THE TUB TO BAKE YOUR DOGGIE BISCUIT DOUGH TREATS.

MAKE THE SIZE OF THE TREAT TO SUIT THE SIZE OF YOUR DOG. DO NOT FEED YOUR DOG RAW DOGGIE DOUGH.

SHORTBREAD (ONLY AVAILABLE IN TERM 4)

As with our regular range of gourmet cookies, simply thaw the dough. Make tablespoon size scoops of biscuit mixture, roll into balls, flatten to 10mm and place on a lined tray. Alternatively you can roll the dough into a 10mm high sheet and cut into shapes using your cookie cutters. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Delicious shortbread biscuits in minutes!

INGREDIENTS (UNBAKED): WHEAT FLOUR, SUGAR, MARGARINE [VEGETABLE OIL, WATER, SALT, EMULSIFIERS (471, 322 FROM SOY, 472c), ANTIXODANTS (304, 307), FLAVOUR, COLOUR (16a)], WATER, WHEAT STARCH, WHEAT FIBRE, EGG POWDER, RAISING AGENT (450, 500), NATURAL BUTTER FLAVOUR, SALT.

KEEP FROZEN.
Thaw the shortbread dough for 3-4 hours until it is pliable to roll or scoop out the dough. After thawing, you can keep the dough in the refrigerator for a maximum of 4 weeks, or you can refreeze the dough. You will also need to allow the dough to soften after storing in the refrigerator.

GINGERBREAD (ONLY AVAILABLE IN TERM 4)

Your Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a batch of these cute Gingerbread Men. Each tub contains a 50mm long cookie cutter.

Disregard the cooking instructions on the tub. Preheat oven to 190ºC (170ºC fan forced). Roll the dough to a 1cm thickness and use a cookie cutter to create your shaped biscuit. Place the biscuits on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 7-10 minutes. Let cool. All ovens are different so please trial bake some first.
