After the untimely death of 14-year-old Dolly Everett, her parents never imagined her legacy would live on through a nationwide anti-bullying movement.
Established in Dolly’s memory by her parents, Kate and Tick Everett and her sister Meg, Dolly’s Dream acts as a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and works to prevent the lives of other children being lost.
Dolly’s Dream does this through empowering and educating families, schools and communities about bullying prevention and the power of kindness.

Do It For Dolly
Dolly’s Dream aims to prevent more young lives being lost to bullying and cyber bullying. Providing educational resources and seminars across Australia, Dolly’s Dream creates conversations that help save lives.
Do it for Dolly Day on Friday 12 May 2023 is a nation-wide day promoting inclusiveness and kindness, as people turn their attention to making the world a kinder, brighter place.
Together with Australian Fundraising, you can host a Dolly’s Dream Colour Explosion Fun Run. The funds you raise will go towards supporting Dolly’s Dream and their vital anti-bullying initiatives. Spread colour and kindness at your school anytime throughout the year, or on Do it for Dolly Day on Friday 12 May 2023.
What is a Colour Explosion Fun Run?
The Brightest Day at School!
Give students the brightest day at school with a Colour Explosion School Fun Run! Fill the air with colour and laughter as participants run, skip and jump through your Colour Explosion Fun Run.
With volunteers set up at stations across the track, participants are drenched in vibrant, non-toxic Holi Colour Powder. Don’t forget to go off with a bang, hosting your own Colour Explosion Dance Finale!

The Easiest Way to Fundraise
You have all the fun of a Colour Explosion Fun Run, and use your profits to make a difference in schools across Australia. At no cost to your school or group, you will fundraise for one of Australia’s leading charities, helping to stop bullying and cyber bullying across Australia.
Sixty percent* of the funds raised will be donated to Dolly’s Dream. The remaining 40% covers the costs of your fundraiser.
