Spanning a massive 12,000 hectares, the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor was
ravaged by agricultural land clearing in the early 1900’s. Unfortunately, 90% of
the wheatbelt was completely destroyed, and hundreds
of thousands of species went extinct

12 nature reserves have protected the area from

area is gradually recovering to its former glory.
